Carnal Love

Carnal Love

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

The taste for her angelic skin

Can be seen in every breath

That penetrates the darkness

Like the moonbeams

That brings him to life.

Not even the rain can drench

The desires from within

For it only brings out the longing

To quench his unbridled thirst

From the lust that seeps from her skin

And rises in the heat of carnal knowledge.

His cry is heard through the

Loneliness of midnight

She detects his call of the wild

Overall the other cries of passion

And she is ready to feel

The beast inside.

Those eyes, his piercing eyes

Locks onto her silhouette approaching

From the distance.

He takes a deep breath to smell

That distinct scent of her lust,

It is like jasmine with a hint of leather.

Her inhibitions are sacrificed

Forevermore to rest in peace

As he takes her in his wanting arms

To penetrate her last known fear

With his primal urges.

Now and forever more she will always be

His carnal love.

Sexy in a carnal way... no doubt. My favorite lines are here:
"Her inhibitions are sacrificed
Forevermore to rest in peace
As he takes her in is wanting arms
To penetrate her last known fear
With his primal urges."
Really paints a picture of eternal primal attraction. There were a couple of cheesy cliche remarks like "call of the wild" that I'd like you to have used your great descriptions instead- like what you did with her scent. That was sexy! Keep up the good work. I'm a fan.

this is a great poem about not only the raw moments when we are attracted to someone but a deeper love with is primal and we can be that way with only someone we completely trust. there has to be more than physical attraction to have this kind of reaction to a person and you show these emotions clearly in this piece. This is a great write and the flow is done nicely. Umm I so remember those days and when it felt like that.

You use words with many meanings in this well.

This is a sensual, powerfully passionate work that drives deep into the psyche. There is that longing that moves so darkly through a life, one that finds satisfaction in the deepest sense of this "carnal love." Amazing, piercing work!

Wonderful descriptions! so beautiful, and sensual!
Every woman wants to be thought of like this, held, cherished.

(has rain mentioned! i love that!)

Wow...this reminds me of my write the Lion and the Lamb. Such a ferocious appetite to be taken and given....consumed with lust. Loved "the beast inside" and "It is like jasmine with a hint of leather." These two lines arouse my senses. There seems to be an intensity of need that continues to build through out this poem. Super!

Although this hinted in a couple of areas of being a really animalistic poem it stayed cool and sexy. I am sure a lot of the ladies got out the fan on this one. Bring them to their knees Cowboy bring them to their knees! Very good poem. I'll be back to check out some other material of yours. I do enjoy your style.

This brings to mind two sleek powerful animals yet I can relate it to a man and woman also. It seems as if he is drawn to her uncontrollably and at the same time she is lured in his direction with only one thought in mind...Mate!
I loved it and some day I'd like to attempt something like this.
