Burn, Burning, Burned

 

The candlelight accents the room just enough

to make everything in it look beautiful.

 

The crackling sounds coming from the fireplace

has the task of keeping loneliness company.

 

The walls are engulfed in flames with the intent

of keeping the heart in its home sweet home.

there is much more to this than first appears..the title is a give away..and as the you work through each stanza its more apparent of loneliness and then engulfed in flames..arguments, fear..its very subtle but that is its strength..superb written
