As this poet's heart bleeds

A bleak shadow is cast down upon my life this very night

Darkness enthrones my heart as certain events unfold

Circumstances far beyond my control have surfaced

 

as this poet's heart bleeds...

for the future of my grandchildren not to be taken away

I am sore afraid of losing them forever
