In Memory Of Bobby

In Memory Of Bobby

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(just thought it would be nice to share my love for my son) (killed by a drunk driver 4/15/07)

"

A candle for my son

May it shine so bright

That he might see it glow in heaven

This lonely Christmas night

I  love you Bobby

Love mom

this is beautiful, I'm sorry for your lost. I love the candle. yes, losing a child is very difficult, it's like a part of you is missing( but remember only in physical sense) he is still here with you in your heart and mind. He knows just as well as God knows that you loved him, so he's your gaurding angel watching over you. God bless you and keep you, cause just as sure as my name God is keeping your Bobby very close to him.

another beautiful poem and I hope they can see it in heaven because I hope my son seen his candle burning bright. but this is the reason I do not and never have believed in drinking and driving and even scared my brother out of it cause of his niece's. I know you will never find complete peace I have had this pain for 8 years and dont really have it but I hope you can find some peace knowing he is in a better place watching over you. from one grieving mom to another I wish I could give you a big hug and tell you he will always be with you
*hugs*

People say that time heals, it doesn't but .. such depth and strength of love grows stronger and serves as arms to hold you close. Bless you.

Wow, what a beautiful piece. It's so rare that so few words can move people but it's stated so simply and eloquently that it can't be ignored by anyone =). I wish you well my friend, parent's shouldn't have to bury their children, as I look to adopt my first this year I will surely remember this piece. A good friend lost her first child at childbirth this past year so while I don't share in your pain and numbness, I can't possibly understand not having experienced it - I do however empathize whole-heartedly.

Oh dear, this brought tears to my eyes. A beautiful tribute to your son Bobby.

I have felt your pain for 31 years now. I'm sure he is looking down on you each and everyday. My David died in 77 at the age of three.
