Stutters

Stutters

A Poem by Emma-Leigh Ivy Cox

Butterflies are in my eyes.
They dance around my head
in hovering halos &
make it hard to disguise
my nerves, while words spill out,
tripping over one another
in my seldom uttered stutters.

Beautiful use of vocabulary!
I love the way u began: "Butterflies are in my eyes. "
Short yet complete in every sense! Way to go! Kudos!

I like the way that you play with these uncommonly used words. Words are my game and I enjoyed your poem; keep writing for your audience!

Another great flow!! Your words are really touching not just in this, but, in any other case, I mean.
