Pronounced O-W-C. Who among us hasn't had a hair pulling tantrum over writerscafe's numerous temper tantrums

     It happened to me late one night
     Had a poem I was going to write
  In front of my computer try as I might
     I couldn't pull up this f*****g site

                 OWC OWC
     Why are you tormenting me

    It happens all the Goddamn time
 You think everything will be just fine
Then spitter and sputter and crash off line
     Then all we do is bitch and whine

    How hard does this have to be

    I just have a poem I want to publish
   So I can read reviews written to relish
 By writers who now how to ego embellish
  but you have to make it so f*****g hellish

 What the f**k is wrong with thee

      Maybe it's all that artistic emotion
    That sets your dysfunction in motion
    and causes all your crazy commotion
      Maybe you need a cyber potion

you're going to be the death of me

  You drive me crazy on my phone
   I scream at you when I'm alone
  You frustrate me right to the bone
   With you I'm in the twilight zone

You're going to double my therapist's fee

    The way you always misbehave
      It's artistic souls that you crave
     You're evil wicked and depraved
   You want to make us all your slaves

Be the master you were meant to be

I'm forever doomed to do your bidding
   I'll never be free who am I kidding
      It's of you I should be ridding
But in front of my computer I'll be sitting

Cute :) The admins abandoned this site years ago, so don't hold your breath. Every once in awhile they pop in and change things (aka the tag line used to begin with I'm...which was annoying as all hell. It took YEARS for them to change it.) Frankly, I'm shocked that the site is even still functioning.

HAHAHA!!! I had a good laugh after a pretty long time. Great humor in good rhyming. More than OWC it's my own bloody mental block making me sing some of these lines for the past four days.
The following line made me howl with laughter:
I just have a poem I want to publish
So I can read reviews written to relish
By writers who now how to ego embellish
but you have to make it so f*****g hellish
The last verse was not as hitting as all the others preceding it, but on the whole a very happy read!

All very true, sadly for all of us.
This is my second time here. The first time here, while making repairs to the site, they accidentally deleted a lot of things posted here. I was one of those casualties. I lost everything posted here.
Everything I have here has been put here by copying my original work from another area (that automatically saves all work every ten minutes.) So I have a safety back up system. That way I'm not likely to ever have my work deleted again.
One day Charlie will get everything right... but who knows when that will be.

*LAUGH* Yes! Even better than advertised; this is hysterical and true and I'm so jealous I didn't think of it first :-D It keeps booting me off and saying unable to connect and I keep saying, "F**k it! I'm through with WC..." But then it lets me back on and I'm all "I forgive you, sweetheart..."

Very well done. This type of turmoil you speak of has happened before and I'm now tempted to re-post my own story on our frustrating ordeal, although my popularity has now waned and it may be useless and gain little reads compared to this well labored gem.

We always come back even though we say to ourselves enough is enough. This site has possessed us all to some degree. Thanks for sharing this, I'm sure many, many, here will consider this worthy of a font page portrait on the popular writing wall.
