Shudder for a bad girl

Shudder for a bad girl

A Poem by Baby Ricochet
"

During a conversation with a friend I got a bad feeling about a friend I haven't seen in a while

"
I saw hello kitty stickers
The word heroin was said
Foreboding shudders hit me
I knew that she was dead
I've no proof of course
It's intuition of a kind
I saw her in the morge
That hides within my mind
A body once so perfect
A charming ghetto soul
Bad girl not so innocent
Lying dead and cold
She was never careful
Needles spikes or veins
Parasites around her
Living off her pain
She couldn't be trusted
With money goods or gold
Give her half a second
and all your s**t was sold
She was a charming little addict
She worked her skills on me
But I'm the hornyest white man
You're ever gonna see
Sometimes I really miss her
She was a special friend
I want to think she's okay
and didn't OD in the end.

I like how honest this is and personal too, you tell it like it is and call her out for her flaws but also appreciate her for the way she still lived life by her own terms and in her own awesome way. She made an impression on you as this is I think the second piece i'm reading and i'm sure it's the same girl in both. I'm sorry about her passing away, I wish her family strength and prayers and wish you the best. Live on for her and always remember the good times.

Good person inhabited by the parasites of an addiction; and even more sorrowing knowing this was personal for you. It makes me wonder how people can just walk separate ways and not wonder the status of the other.

Thats for sure. Thanks Tai
you remind me of my thoughts on what is a man

Bearing for her lifes burdens
sooths the children of their tears
is the rock all others break upon
leaves fond memory of his years.

Very endearing 100/100

"I saw her in the morgue that hides within my mind", this is beautiful. How strange to think what will become of the people who have been a huge part of our lives but are no longer, this poem is certainly capable of generating some deep thinking, thank you, Baby

Well thanks for stopping by taydr.
heroin is one of the worst forms of human suffering i have ever seen and is almost certainly a death sentence. i have known people like the one you devoted this poem to and they are often beautiful souls who have simply lost their way and then lose hope. this is a sad and vibrant write and very nicely penned.

Well Jade was obviously a self destructive person. Little chance that she will change. But you hope for the best.
