Some of these images are quite graphic and may disturb some of you.

This is a true story

About what you want to believe

and what really happened

In a land we destroyed

For corporate profit

We went on patrols

Looking for bad guys

We kicked down their doors

Terrorized their families

Humiliated their men

Killed their children

Attacked their religion

Displaced their Nation

and they hated us for it.

So they hit back

and we we hit them

In an ever escalating cycle

Of high powered violence

That pushed us to breaking

and the innocent lives

caught in the crossfire

Were killed by the thousands

Because we were lied to

By a band of fools

Clueless with arrogance

Our bodies came home

Our families they grieved

Our people protested

While we fought for our lives

We finally came home

They fell into chaos

America moved on

But we didn't

Because we paid the piper

For our Nation's folly

Baby Ricochet
This was the hardest thing I ever posted on this site. I'm going to take it down in a few days. It's not appropriate for the WC but it's something I had to do.

I hope you don't take it down. I am going to share on Facebook and email my friends. This is an important message!! In the name of 'defending freedom' ...

I respect every man and woman who put on the uniform and went to fight, but we were all duped and continue to be duped.

I looked, and read, and felt and cried. I felt helpless for every single soul there. This is the result of lies and hate and the delusion that we can "fix" anything. How someone got to go home his ranch and paint and never once addressed or acknowledged the loss in humanity is beyond me. He was misinformed is what we got. Very often a leader is only as good as those he picks to surround him and look at the fools and the clowns he chose. But he paints, sold out of his pictures of birds at Christmas and these are all the pictures he left behind and we know he never looked at them. I'm sorry you ever saw them and I am sorry for every soul who lost a life, a love a village, and especially what it has done to the children. We should look and we should know. Our eyes are pinned opened and our shouts should be heard. We should understand why they hate us so much. I am so sorry BR

I cried. Sometimes you need to rip the band-aid off the wound to show everyone all the puss and disease lying beneath the skin. Blindly, we have become a festering wound in society. It's gripping and emotional and packed with truth. It pisses me off, frankly. I don't want to jump into a discussion of politics or religion or anything else that gets people riled up. What I wish I could see is people finally standing up to this sort of bullshit. We talk and talk and talk and yet no action is ever taken to rid ourselves of scum. Pour antiseptic on that b***h.

This was a perfect portrayal of the war we've waged on countries that don't deserve it. Republicans often back this up with the idea that all Muslims are terrorists, especially in the southeast Asia area, when in fact most of them aren't even violent. Heck, the "terrorists" are little more than small groups of people defending their lands from the American invaders, and they've manipulated the fact to antagonize their nation. You speak the truth, Baby R. May it be known to all that our losses could have been avoided, had it not been for the Bush administration.
Always speak the truth, friend.

Sorry hun … But I couldn't look at more than two of them … but I understand why you posted these images … this is war … this is killing … it is not a video game. Real people are dying and real people are grieving .. let's stop this; let's stop war … the mechanisms exist; they have been proven … passive resistance and diplomacy work in time and are far less costly in dollars and suffering.

That's a hundred from me … people need to see this and they need to understand.

I'm glad you posted this even if it was hard. it's a real eye opener especially for those of us who have absolutely no idea what's really going on with the middle east and why we are there.

Well you made me cry. Such tragedy in this. Something I will never be able to relate nor try and understand. This is gripping, emotional, raw, chilling.....my heart goes out to you and I applaud you for finding the courage to post this and I am sorry.

Regards
