It was only today
The way i saw you display
Never to forget your existence
I didn't want to distance

I was determined in persistence
I will overcome the resistance
Only today that i have met you
I couldn't have been more true

Today was another day
I hope it wasn't such a delay
The feeling of leisurely throughout the day
I realized the time away

The time with you
was too fast to be true
Days began to past
Rather i thought it was too fast

As the time past
it was the great vast
Chasing after you for a year
Finally the day is here

I think I get the general idea but some of the lines just don't make sense to me like "As the time past/it was the great vast". Even so, the thought of this poem is very sweet and touching. It's a relaxing poem with such great dedication.
