I was lonely

I was lonely

A Poem by Destiny_Brown

I was agile but not slick

I lived in a dark cave once

Poignant reminder of the lonely

Was it sorrow?

I almost forgot that I’m not so grand

The dreadful creature

Please be partial to my muscle of blood

So much of nothing

Too much of everything

I’d like to think we’re all lost

I almost forgot that I’m not so grand

The dreadful creature

I was seized by the cold

Chewed out by the shadows

And spit out by the screams

Hauntingly crippled

Beautifully bloodied

Forgetfully nostalgic

Don’t let it end us

I can’t let it end us

I mean me

The dreadful creature

Is she ready to restart?

Such depth of words in a state of wonder and guess we all feel a bit lonely some harder than others ever will. But very solid muse:)

You are very welcome
I suppose we all have a '' Me '' ''Us'' and '' Them''. Very likable read. Makes one truly wonder who or what lurks on the inside at times. Many battles are most often fought with self. Great write.
