I'm Alright

I'm Alright

A Poem by Andrew
"

You find the best moments in life hidden in the most unexpected places.

"
Tonight,

I'm alright.

I started my day

With no worries,

No strife.

The featherlike clouds

Float along in the breeze.

While cardinals serenade me

High in the trees.

The river runs deep

Through the forest it flees.

As I sit back and relax

Using time as I please.

I'm going to dance

Because I can

Rest, work, and play

All over this land

It may sound like I'm leaving

But I'm really just breathing

Thankful to be receiving

Each day by His hand.

A simple straightforward song of gratitude. Very free, and very freeing! A lovely clutch of thoughts. Well done.
