Bubbles

Bubbles

A Poem by Emily
"

We were studying aeronautics in Science, and this was based on a experience from it.

"
Giddy feelings all around
Thrice to launch

Letting go is such a pretty thing
A cloud of color
One lagging like a yellow caboose
Caught in the columned wind

Fading from view
Like bubbles in the sky
Airplanes come too close
To our precious fliers

Where are they off to?
Kansas? Australia?
Who knows?

But it's time to wave goodbye
To the bubbles in the sky

Bubbles are full of fun most of the time. It took me a long time before I felt I could address them poetically. I enjoyed your whimsical approach and I invite you to take a peek at mine.
