Nice poem. I certainly know the feeling. You did a wonderful job, here, of displaying that in poetic form. I really enjoyed the second to last stanza, that stanza in particular stood out to me as a place that displays the battle between loving and wanting to move on. Love, to me is something that doesn't seem to be able to be controlled at all.

It's never a choice we make...to love somebody. It just happens. And when it does...it can take us by surprise. And when the love is gone..it's funny how we can keep on loving those people...time..distance...it doesn't fill an aching heart.
