Those Three Words

Love is but a mystery between two star-crossed lovers.

Those three words we hold so,
so seemingly meaningless;
forever and always.

Sifting through the memories,
as if to get some type of closure,
relentlessly blaming the one at fault.

Those three words which become a falsehood,
representing so much more than one could know,
it's becoming evermore clear; the reasons for my apology.

Please don't fret this last time,
as we depart there is but one conflict,
forever and always, I will love you.

forever and always.. you are a good enough writer that I got caught up in the content.. it is often the little over looked things that we find deep meaning.. forever is a long time and there are as many ways as there are imaginations to seek them.. one can search a life time and still not find all the ways to reach forever..
