Chaos

Lost in the chaos 
Of a ripened life 
One must face 
Their distant fate 
And seek no alleviation 
In the eternity 
Known to us as 
Existence 

Don't linger in the past 
It is full of nothing 
But afflictions 
Enveloped in a tempting 
And disillusioning manner 

For life is a question in itself 
A question that cannot be answered 
By mere existence 
And perhaps the only explanation 
Is
