Our Love

Our Love

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

Written in 10th grade, a poem about teen love.

Our Love

Summer, 1984

In the woods on the hill,
Just the two of us there,
In your arms close to you,
I have never a care.

On the ground in the grass,
With you close by my side,
Holding you in my arms,
We kiss with nothing to hide.

Young lovers we are,
And shall always be,
Apart for so long,
Now forever with thee.

The world cannot part us
So long as love stays,
I will love you completely
For all of my days

Dedicated to Chuck H. Keep the memories.
