Trailer Talk

Trailer Talk

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

Written in 12th grade, a sonnet about a 9th grade prank.

Trailer Talk

October 14, 1986

Chair to roof -
Now please be fair -
The teacher has proof
That we put it there.
Trailers away
To build a new wing -
The memories stay,
Though not so the thing.
No more pranks
Of a chair out the door;
And neither can Frank
Play such games anymore.
