Martial Arts

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

A poem about studying martial arts.

Martial Arts

August 10, 1988

Block. Dodge.
Make circles with your arms.
Strike. Punch.
Precision is the key.

Concentrate. Focus.
Master your own mind.
Remember. Flow.
You have shown me before.

Calm. Peace.
Speed is in the knowing.
Practice. Be.
Precision is your reward.
