In the Dusk of Time

In the Dusk of Time

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

A poem.

In the Dusk of Time

September 22, 1989

In times of old
Joy flowed most free
And life and love did flourish.

Years hastened by,
Great songs were made -
The children grew
In wisdom.

In later years
An end came around,
And the dance of stars
Was ended.

Now in this place,
Which is none of earth,
The angels weep
For lost dreaming.
