Drifting (3)

Drifting (3)

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

A poem of depression.

Drifting 3

April 26, 1999

Growing unease
Confusion brewing
Tension rising
In aching waves.

Pinched and stinging
Vision blurring
Red lights flash
In stormy eyes.

Floating in silence
Weak and weary
Alone inside me.
