Muffins and Pies

Muffins and Pies

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A new scrap of nursery rhyme that drifted into my mind in the night.

"

Muffins and Pies

I’ve muffins, hot muffins,

Fresh muffins to sell;

A copper penny will buy one.

A muffin, or a bun,

A penny will buy,

Or tuppence buys hot apple pie!
