Below are six steps to help you become a much better Footballer

Steps

Facing the challenges

1.    Work hard and practice a lot. Focus completely on training to become a professional. You must practice daily regardless of the weather. You should also balance sports practices with studies or even with a part-time job. With practice and daily dedication, you will develop your talent and perfect your skills. If your child wants to become a professional footballer, your own level of dedication must be enormous. You may need to take him to the games, buy him the appropriate equipment and pay club dues, talk to coaches, help him with informal practices or boost his morale. You could even be a coach of a youth soccer team.

2.    Be patient. Accept that becoming a professional is a gradual process. You will continue learning, developing your technical skills, acquiring knowledge related to football and making good contacts with other people.

  • Look for professional development programs and find out how you can be part of them. Ask your coach or mentor for advice about the available options.

3.    Evaluate your game mode. After playing for a while, pay close attention to your skills. Find out in which position your innate abilities are best suited. When determining this, do not just think of yourself. Also think about how your skills improve teamwork and how your strengths fit into the game in general. It is important that you be exceptional in what you do because there will be a lot of competition.

·         Request the honest opinion of your trained regarding your strengths and opportunities. Listen to their suggestions about possible ways to improve or perfect your natural talent.

4.    Strive to be the best in your level. If you are not, make an honest assessment of how you can improve your skills or if you need to change positions in the field. You must also show that you are good at the games. Play consistently well and show that you can practice every week, not just once in a while.

  • If you are the outstanding player of the week every week, you will be on the road to success.

5. Communicate with your teammates.
Football is a team sport and good communication is essential. Show at all times that you are good at communicating with others. Use your good manners, express yourself clearly, avoid having an insubordinate or angry behavior on the field and play as a team.

·         A player who plays individually most of the time or refuses to communicate in the right way becomes a burden on the team and is likely not to get very far.

6. Get in shape Your physical condition is important in soccer. Exercise often, eat a healthy diet and avoid substances that may affect your performance, such as alcohol. Sleep well every night. It is also important that you learn to take care of yourself and avoid injuries. Learn to play well from the start and stay in good physical condition by stretching and exercising.
