Out On The Town The Three Musketeers And Me
A Poem by Ray Hamilton

Out On The Town
The Three Musketeers And Me

Well I'm finally out on the town
Just me and the great three
Does the ladies have a favorite pub
I guess we will soon see

We give up our swords
Strange me thinks
They must get real nasty
After dancing and a few drinks

I give up my sword
Without much of a fight
Donna hugs me and says
Don't worry it will be alright

We stroll down the street as happy as can be
Dancing our way along, me and the great three

Finally their pub we have found
Diana says here's a table
Lesa beckons me to sit on down
Donna says the first round is on me
Quietly here I sit, uttering not a sound

I can't believe my eyes
To the first round, we quickly say goodbye
With these party animals, I must try to keep up
We indulge in the three musketeers special blend
Consuming these things, it sure will be tough

Donna says hurry up my friend
Your starting to fall behind
Having to many of these darn things
I'm sure to lose my mind

There will be no sleep tonight
Huge hang over, by early mornings light
We consumed many of their special blend
These three are sure party animals my friends

Why wouldn't this be their special blend
After all the candy bar, was named after them
Not going out again, with the great three
Well maybe after I feel better, we will see
I tell you with not a word of a lie
I'm on this humongous sugar high

Although yes we all stayed sober
I don't know about this sugar hang over
Well at least I can still see
Darn party animals,~ yes all three!!

Ray's Disclaimer

Almost no one got hurt during this outing
Tried to take Donna's candy bar
I hope this doesn't leave a scar
She knocked me to the ground
I'm real glad she didn't
Take her sward to town
Bit of a temper, me thinks
Glad she wasn't having drinks
