With Wings Spread ღ KKD ღ
With Wings Spread
For oh so long
the wings have been safe at her side
never daring to spread
not able to soar and fly
The heart with in this Angel on earth
is as pure as the finest gold
yet with in this cage the spirit is held prisoner
if the truth were to be told
To those who failed to see
what a precious gem they had
will now have not the sparkle
and for them I feel quite sad
For one to not appreciate
what is truly freely given
is a crime against love and passion
and from what loneliness is driven
This imprisoned angel
gives with no return
and to those who have taken
the lonely night oil will burn
But now the door of this gilded cage
swings open free and wide
she leans slightly forward
with wings spread she begins to fly
Fly my dear angel
with happiness and beauty
I can now depart
with out any worry...

I worked with in Melbourne and became a dear sweet

I have had a delightful journey today within the heart and soul of my dearest of dearest friends. I have read through your tears, I have read through your words of hope, and I have seen your talent shine. I have now come upon this beautiful write that I have not left words on as yet within this poetic home. I think I know the heart that you speak of here and it IS a joy to see that her wings are still spread wide. Sweetie, just don't forget to spread your own for you deserve to fly as well. I just left your write You Will Always Haunt Me and I know it is so true. I just pray that one day you will see yourself as others see you and the haunting, hurtful, memories will take flight to leave your heart in peace. You have come a very long way to make it so. Love you always girlie girl.
This is a beautiful dedication from a loving heart.
