I Wonder As I Wander

Thru this life I walk
with head held high
while wondering what if
as I sadly sigh

I've always walked to the beat
of a different drum from most
I can't help but wonder
what if I were not this Gypsy Ghost

My spirit has always been free
I view things in a different light
I cant help but wonder
some where did I lose sight

My path on which I've chosen
has caused joy and pain
but love seems to escape
and always end in vain.

But each morning I rise
and into the mirror gaze
I like what I see
not like your evil haze

My word is of gold
and in which you could trust
my life does not revolve
around self indulgent lust

You call me trash and other such names
in the same breath you spoke of love
The pain and confusion caused
left me like a wounded dove

My Gypsy life I chose
for what I am I must always be
even for you no change would come
for I am who I am and must be me.

The Rock And Roll Cowbo..

Some people feel comfortable living their lives with in societies box... but for me this poem speaks to me as I feel the same way... I enjoy what I do even if it isn't what it is told I am suppose to... life is to short to confine yourself to certain expectations. A wonderfully inspiring piece.

Aspiring Angel

Beautiful expression of your heart yet once again my sweet friend.
The 'What If's' in our lifetimes seem to be our biggest hauntings
I know that you were not able to put everything you wanted to
say here but it just proves that the you, that is you, is a much better
peson and heart, than the He that tried to destroy you.

You keep walking with your head high and myself I would have you
no other way than the you I know and love.
