perfect geometry

perfect geometry

A Poem by dontdigonswine

My soul is spiraling stars
And as far as I can see
They all come from the same mother sun

You've broken me off
A million splintered bones
Clinging to gravity

I could be a run-on sentence
You're too slow to catch up with
How dare you try to understand me?

There's a ghost in my soul
Telling me what to feel
I can't help but believe his lies

Where do I go to get truth?
A highly potent syrum
To cleanse myself to a baby's mind

I'm homesick for the old me
The comfortable skin I'm usually in

Just keep feeding my mind the simple solutions

If only there was a way
To simplify these thoughts into one connected strand
I could be a part of
The perfect geometry of it all
