A long lasting impression

A long lasting impression

A Poem by Eli.Klinger
"

Take what you want from this.

"
Your feelings of desire
Are something that I wish to acquire
A feeling so true
Something that could only be shared by two
The only exception
Is the remorse of  rejection
A fearful loss
Of something that was never there
You’re left with no one to care
The helplessness of being blind in the dark
A desperate wanderer
Without a guide
That has been washed ashore by the tide
Stranded, alone
So far from home
It’s so plain to see
That you will always be
A hopeless desire
I will never acquire

'a hopeless desire, i will never acquire' - a wonderful phrase
the only thing would be that somewhere in the middle the rhyming seems to go a little awry, but overall, me myself not being a huge fan completely rhyming poems, it was very good
