Sleepin' Soundly Deep Inside

Sleepin' Soundly Deep Inside

A Poem by drcornelius

I got love that aint been loved

It’s just pilin’ up inside

Time I let loose all that lovin’

Set it free before I die

I got kisses aint been kissed

Just keep hidin’ them inside

It’s time I set myself to smoochin’

Let them out before I die

So many laughs that aint been laughed

Sleepin’ soundly deep inside

It’s time I did some belly laughin’

Get it out before I die

I got some tears that aint been shed

Piled up behind my eyes

It’s time I caught up on my greivin’

Do some cryin’ before I die

So many feelings aint been felt

So many crazy reasons why

None of the reasons worth a whit

I’ll do some feelin’ before I die
