Get Away From The Wall

A Poem by Bud
Same old song, same old dance,
But a new life that has become entranced.
Save this life, it's  so innocent.
Let it not become as ours, so bent.
Salvation is here, right now.
But we fail to see that, somehow.

Over and over we destroy in the name of right?
It's been happening since the beginning of life.
When, if ever will we learn,
That blisters form of fires burned?
Pains you felt, steel now melts...
Love you longed for, replaced by whelps...

Listen, people!  What do you not see with your eyes?
Stop!  Before you destroy another young and innocent life!
I am as guilty as any, yes at best.
But this life is not in vain, though highly vexed.
Break the cylce, as I say to you all
You have two feet with your back, Get Away From The Wall!

You are right....some just do over and over because it's what they are used to doing. They are afraid to change, to take a stand, to speak up for what is right, take time to stop and consider what is the noble thing to do. I guess I think of the right to life issue when I read this, but I may be wrong. So many innocent lives lost....far too many!
We must speak out for our fellow man, whatever the issue is at hand! Some do not have a voice so we must be their voice!
