afraid of demons?

afraid of demons?

A Poem by dustin kenton modersohn stockdale
"

i had a dream

"
i watch from above myself
a hooded demon kneels
as i lay in my bed
behind me

he holds a long dagger
i remain still
he holds it above his head
and thrusts it into mine

ecstasy

a pool of beautiful matter
floats out of the wound
departing my broken skull
it lights up the room

i feel beautiful
i am a part of the world
what came from my head
is now one with everything

Interesting concept and a good snapshot, however, I don't feel like a snapshot is entirely enough. The beauty in the last few stanzas deserves more. My opinion, for what it's worth, is to focus on that. It's original and wonderful.
