A girl called Faith.

A girl called Faith.

A Poem by dukovan

Theres no time to spare.

No time at all.

The remains of your past,

how your body has grown.

Do you think you would mind,

if I thought by myself?

I need time,

you need mine.

Faith didn't know.

Trust is a stone,

growing its moss,

how we have rolled.

Do you think you could know?

The time you have left,

is the things we dont know,

I dont know.

I was under a rock,

inside of my stomach.

If it passes or not,

I could learn to love it,

this knot.

Theres a distance we know,

how far I can trust you,

is as far as I'll go.

Trust is a stone.

How far I can trust you,

is as far as you throw.

You cast the first stone.

In the back of my head,

it was hard,

it was cold.

Faith doesn't know.

She only hopes,

and God only knows.

It really isn't hard to follow or overly convoluted. And the intent is evident throughout. The pace is as fast as the listener WANTS it to be. And its relevance is left behind each viewers eyes. Did I like it? In parts and at times... and at other parts and times as I reread...

maybe next time, try a girl called Bubbles.....
These latest pieces are good, be careful of the unknowns, that's what the reader wants defined.

Stunning! I love the way your voice changed as the poem flowed from what ifs to what is, then came the what could be. I love it.
