Emotional tree

Emotional tree

A Poem by Dupur Mitra

I want to climb a emotional tree
where i want to laugh
want to cry
want to speak

I want to climb a emotional tree,
where a snake comes to bite me.

Oh this is short and have so much meaning behind it. I believe I heard the best pieces that have been short lately. A writer doesn't have to write ten stanzas to bleed what they're feeling at that moment or whatever inspiration they have. We all have our own emotional trees where we climb and notice a vicious snake slithering at the top ready to knock us back down. We need to be strong enough to stand back on our two feet and climb right up that tree and laugh. Want to know you should laugh? Simply because laughter kills evil. Great write.

On most days I feel like I don't even need to climb a tree to get bitten...interesting concept, well-said.
