The greatest being within each other. To fight against their mortal brother. With Brigadiers to march and lead the way, Waving broad red stripes into the fray. Killing shots were fired, tallied on the rack. Let no-one escape, shoot them all in the back ! And who can say who's on whose side ? And who can say who's lived or died ? And when the battle is over and the glory is won, Can we ever say the fighting is truly done ? So take heed and don't let prejudice tear you apart. For we all share in kinship - the Human Heart. I pray for the day where men can call each other Brother. Hold hands, unite the world, and be friends with one another. For war does not tell who is right or wrong, Only who is LEFT to pray in mournful psalm ... Return back HOME   You are Earth Visitor #

That was like when I got those storybooks with audio and I slipped in I would get lost and spend my days listening to stories. Wow, it made me feel better to here it, and how you wanted to be read and hear the music and flow to it. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I felt like I could flow into the sky! AWESOME JOB! woot woot :D

I' always thought I had a squeaky voice. I remember hearing guys talking at school in the hallway and then I try to be friends and I say something and they look at me funny. I had one even ask if I've been sucking helium and I said no, it's just me.

Anytime you're different at school, you're going to be teased and bullied for it. I found the only people I would answer to after awhiles would be my teachers, school nurse, some of my good friends, and of course family and my bosses at work. But few else others as I always get the look the first time they hear me.

Oh, the music ? I - tend to hear things in silence when I'm alone so I have this playlist of select music about 3,000 long. I play it all day every day and it keeps the voices at bay.

I think I could post it all as a Streaming Music Channel, maybe I'll do that next week ?

Well I enjoyed it :3 And Bullies? Meh, seen them and still do XD the best way to get them is to laugh at them and to let them know they're irrelevant to your flawless life. Well that's what I did, so I felt good and they didn't get to me as much. Sucks you got bullied though :( No One deserves that.

I guess one good thing was when I was younger, my voice was so high-pitched I won a gold (not silver) award for singing soprano in a choir. At the time I was pretty proud of myself for being able to reach notes other girls, even younger than me in the choir couldn't even touch. And yet today - I'm thankful my voice has lowered in pitch a bit. Still, there isn't one salesperson on the phone who doesn't call me ma'am today.

As for the school bullies, especially Scant and his cronies. The good news is they're all gonna get written up in Barrier. All the mean things they did. I've already put together 3-novels in draft format, a little over 900 pages so far. Will be interesting to see how that turns out.

OK, as for the music, I'll make a new streaming track for the next Saturday Surprise. I think I already have Cryogenic Sleep and Infinite Ambience so far.

Thanks ... You're certainly welcome to use your camera. I have noticed that Writer's Cafe allows unlimited uploaded pictures so you can definitely make a post that shows your collection if you like. I haven't taken a photo of Meredith yet. She's one of my other favorites and wears this pretty sunbonnet.

I'm - not so creative I can think up full names, however for my hamster, Teddy. I did. His full name is Theodore Roosevelt Wicker. Or in short, Teddy (since I like Teddy Bears), Rose (the name of my G/F and new Mom), and Wicker, of course, being my last name. I thought it was pretty clever. :)

Now in my novel Barrier I do give full names to everyone in there, not just the good guys and main actors but the bad guys and girls as well. :)

Nono, Barrier is a fictional writing, although the school scenes are from where I went to Elementary, Middle, and High. The party scene is from early college. And Tyr is the name of the G/F I had back in 3rd grade, so there will definitely be cross-overs. :)

Clever ? Hmm ... I hope it's considered more considerate than clever. Clever is when the fox is standing by the 2nd rabbit hole to catch his prey and snap it's neck in two.

Careful is having two foxes, one by the entrance and one by the exit to ensure he cannot escape in either case and to share in the caught kill.

Considerate is for the single fox to let the rabbit go altogether and consider having some wild berries for supper instead. I would rather be the fox with the berries.

It's the picture at the top. I'm - not sure if that's for kids or not. And yet, cartoons have certainly changed. I remember days when the bad guy would say, "And you will never leave here." and today they say, "You will never leave here alive."

Perhaps I'm skewed in my views. If you think I should change it for everyone, I certainly can with your advice.

I love the rhyming and the message it's sending out! :D This have such a sad yet fluttering feeling in me as the poem progresses.

It's the rhythm. I've only learned how to write a poetry one way and - while it follows a familiar style, it's a little tricky to do as I try to match the number of syllables or 'rhythm' with rhyming the ending words as well.

Well it's nice to know I'm not alone ! :D Don't tell others but I've always thought poetry that doesn't rhyme is - well - its just not poetry - but an eloquently written passage not following the standard conventions of written structure.

The very definition of POEM says, "A piece of writing that partakes of the nature of both speech and song, and that is usually rhythmical and metaphorical."

lol, for me, I can never really get into a poem that has no rhythm to it XD I just start getting lost in my own world.
I agree that the definition for poem is not really accurate since a poem can be almost anything.

Presumably there are =55= kinds of poetry out there today ! The one I use (looking it up) is called an Anapaestic Rhyming Couplet Meter. You can definitely beat a drum to it. :)

At some point I'll try to make one where every 2nd stanza rhymes in sets of 2. I've never done that before, but I think I can - I'll have to experiment. :)

Well, war is never child's play. In many ways I wish when we had a war, we would just have a list of things each country wants and based upon a 100% fair assessment, they are allocated out according to needs instead of wants.

my favourite lines within those wise and sorrowful lines. you have conveyed the message very elegantly about the effects of war and the universal brotherhood. the last two lines were amazing and rang with sheer truth and sanity. i have read it before in one of your post "wit and wisdom".

Hmm ... perhaps I should start posting my Dream Journal in here ? While I'm on stronger anti-psychotics now, before, I would easily have 7-9 dreams every night, very vivid. Now it's just 3-4. Still - the dreams are - as you say - fantastic - and bizarre. I will consider it. :7

War is hell. I know some people have once asked is it possible we are in Hell now, here on Earth and Heaven awaits us beyond this mortal coil ?

Of that I could not say, but I can say - Heaven and hell, at least as we understand it, are what you make of it.

Outlook is everything. From the Squirrel Sarah befriended during WW1 to Anne's Diary of her life, each individual found their comfort zone. I think I found mine too. :)
