That's How It Is

I am here for everyone else,
I try to make them happy,
But I can't make myself happy,
I can't help but feel worthless.

I want to be something,
I wanna be worth something to someone,
I have friends,
But what do they really think of me.

I bet they think I'm weak,
I'm trying as hard as I can,
But it's never going to be easy,
It's eventually going to kill me.

Everything is taking it's toll now,
I can help but shed tears,
It used to mix with blood,
But I quit that now.

I can't ever get back into that,
My true friends will get upset,
The people that actually care,
And I mean something too.

...I just want all of it to end,
I still have pain,
Wounds still are opened,
And still opening..

I doubt the wounds will heal,
Because I've been through so much already,
I can't take anymore...

Your not a terrible friend in my opinion your like a sister (;
You have always been there for me and I tried to be there for you back.
Maybe it's not your fault maybe its all of your friends fault because we should be able to pick you up when you feel down.
You shouldnt have to pick yourself up you should have some help with it, because your always there for others

to wake each morning as zero, nothing. some sort of chronic worthlessness, such a mess, such a mess. to think i let it get this way. can't leave, can't stay. a pain that lingers. could be the scent of flowers, nothing finds it's way through.

very moving. on a personal note, as an unsolicited confession, wherever you are in this journey--you are not alone.
