Unspoken

I am really into Slam Poetry now. So I am going to be writing things if I ever decide to perform. I may make a Youtube video for some of them.

Sometimes I don’t express myself like I need to.

I keep the words locked up inside because people in this world judge me

Not just me

They judge others too

We are all different

With different thoughts

Different emotions

Everything about us is different

No one is exactly the same

Other people’s opinions matter too

You are not the only person in this world

We shouldn’t have to hide what we feel

I want to talk

I want people to listen to me seriously

Not judge me for what I have to say

I want the same for others too

No one should be afraid to have an opinion

Speak your mind

Don’t hold back

Release your words

Don’t let others bring you down for your opinion

Sometimes I’m afraid to speak my mind

Others too

Now I don’t want to hold back

I’m going to speak my mind

No matter what others say

I won’t be afraid

I hope you won’t be too

That was excellent! I have always been so worried about others judging me, that I wouldn't speak my mind. As I have gotten older, that has all changed. I speak my mind and I don't care who judges me! Great writing! ☺

You should express yourself and not worry bout what others think. Those that judge are just insecure about themselves. What we find cool or normal may not be to others. It is something we should always remember but too often forget.
