Chapter 1: the BeggingA Chapter by .:*s e c o n d s
I sat in the damned room and stared down the stupid, fat b*****d.
To be clearer, the damned room was the office in my school, the stupid and fat b*****d was my principal, Mr. Donigan and I was really in trouble this time.
Mr. Donigan is rather portly, five ft. zero and not the least bit intimidating, but don't tell him that.
He stood behind his desk staring at my muddy, black boots propped up on his papers.
"Saide, would you please remove your muddy boots from my desk." he said wearily. I slowly lifted my feet off his desk and stood.
"So, what's it this time? A phone home, a suspension, or something new like an expulsion?" I stated with mock excitement. The truth was, no matter what he did or said, I didn't care.
He sighed and sat in his chair. "You blew up a bus, completely wiped a hotdog stand off the face of the earth and stole two hundred rolls if duck tape. Now I know lots of things but I was wondering if you could enlighten me in why you did this?"
"You know why." I said hostilely.
He sighed again. "Sadie, you know your mother put you here for a reason."
I grew angry, furious even. Who was this guy to dig into my personal business?
"Yes. My mom put my in this reject farm because she doesn't want me."
Mr. Donigan gave me a hard look. "First of all, this is an all girl correctional facility, not a reject farm. Second, your mother 'put you here' on an order of the law because you became dangerous to society."
"All I did was break a few windows, crash a couple planes, and nearly burn down a city! Every teen goes through the destruction faze!"
He raise his eyebrows and looked at me in disbelief. I sighed and walked towards the door, knowing he wouldn't stop me.
I looked back and smiled, "See ya Gramps." and walked out.
Downstairs in my dorm I met up with my roommate, Kate. "So, what'd he do?" she asked casually. "The usual." I replied, "Come on, let's get going. I can't wait to see him..." Kate cut me off. "I can't wait to see him! It's been two months, oh I bet he's gotten even more ripped since last time." she said in a high pitched voice, mocking mine. I just laughed and threw my backpack over my shoulder. "I call shotgun!" I yelled and ran out the door.
In the car I regretted the stupid law. "How come you get to be sixteen and I'm stuck being fifteen!" I whined like a small child. Kate laughed, "That made no sense."
I just sighed, "Hurry up!" I exclaimed and started squirming in my seat. I checked the mirror one more time. My golden-blond hair was back in a ponytail, my ice-blue eye had mascara on and I still had on my ridiculous school uniform.
I had on the itchy plaid skirt and black leggings that came down to my knees and my button down white shirt and plaid coat. Well, he'll love me for who I am right? I thought and smiled.
We pulled up to the run down donut shop and I grinned like a maniac. I'm finally back.
