Love Lost

Love Lost

A Poem by Always Changing
"

Another from my Lost Love Collection of poems.. This one is Alliteration. Short phase but the poems where a good vent.

"

Lively laughs lay less longer,
Lovely lighter little lace,
Luscious lips the lightest lady,
Little lies leak later lonely,
Lifeless locks live lapses linger,
Never will you die again...

Ahh.... [exhales]ok so I read this about 10 times but I'm still not quite sure what it means. It sounds really cool though. And yeah there is a lot going on in this...

Lickety Lemon Lizard L-L-L-L-Lah!

Maybe you can explain it to me because I would really like to know what it means...
Or you can NOT explain it to me... thats ok too. I understand people are busy.
Its your call XD

In all honesty I'm a bit confused, but that's mostly because my English major brain is going haywire with joy over so much alliteration! It love the idea of using almost exclusively alliterative phrases until the very end; it makes the last line seem much more important and prompts the reader to go back and revisit the rest of the poem to see what he or she missed. This is a completely brilliant idea and I wish I'd thought of it!
