The rivers of your ecstasy

wash away the dark dust of day.

How I want to taste the delicacy

of your gardens

and wander deeper

through every path of your delicious soul

until all I know

is the intoxication of your name.

For there is no wine so delicious

so intoxicating

as the taste of your soul

through those warm lips.

We are the glowing mists

soft summer sighs

the light that swallows shadows

our life unfolding in every embrace.

Do not love me like the wind

in whimpers and mindless furies.

Love me instead like the sea

vast and deep and transcendent.

May our heat melt all the stars

into one screaming flame

as we make the seasons jealous

and transform life into endless summer.
