rites of spring

rites of spring

A Poem by Ed Hart

i be chasing the wind

in flowering fields

see me

arms wide dancing

releasing

thoughts of you

like seeds

into this new day

what counting could measure

recurrences of the heart

that build forever

in strides of morning

                              glories

and the buzzing announcement

of life's enterprise

such things are raised in secret

but the tasting belongs to us

You have me dancing in the aisles here.

Such a celebration of life and love this is.

there is a flow of life energy that is relentless and will go on well after the human species has disappeared from this planet, but we will be part of it always....ghosts of self-consciousness past

This is you bowing to the 'come by' and - dancing with the glorious. Beautiful

just love this poem....especially the last two lines...

it's all in the ways of nature...and life's enterprise...but each individual has his or her own secrets that belong only to those involved.
