I love you all. I learn so much from responses.
Six here from Feb or Mar when I posted, and one most recent. Three are confused by meaning and four think I've done well. I'll judge that the positives have it... barely. The meaning seems so clear to me in each piece and I've met the simplistic criteria of the challenge while sending out a much deeper meaning. I'd be happy to try to explain meaning to anyone who asks.

Thank you all so much for validating my effort.

Dear Papaed,

Very well written. Yes, this is not a choice any more than the color of our eyes. Medical science has shown this. Still it is a social taboo, however. We need to grow so much as a people. When will that happen? Who knows. We are only 6 million years past the common ancestor with the chimpanzee. I simply don't know how long it will take until we don't act like monkeys. Millions of years, I suppose. I hope I'm wrong.

Interesting great topic. Great writing. Simple. Clean. Greatly enjoyed.

Best regards,

Rick

Nice form, although you sort of lost me.
Anyway, it's still alluring and nice.

Profound!

Ah, now here's the brevity I long to have. To write a tome in a few lines shows great knowledge of juggling .. juggling words.

To me, your lines are broken thoughts trying to link hands .. interesting to say the least.

Hmm, like the title, drew me on. But I confess I am not a fan of tiny forms or challenges.

Both nicely-pondered poems.
