The Woman

The Woman

A Poem by W. C. Forrest
"

This is for the one who is yet to come.

"
Her laughter sounds like thousand symphonies,
Her smile brings the world alive,
With big twinkling eyes forever talking,
Lords best work making the universe swoon with pride,
She is not an option, neither a choice,
She is my journey, destiny and vice,
Worthy of being called an absolute personification of perfection,
Her serenity leads to road of redemption,
Her beauty makes my heart skip a beat,
Even Aphrodite so jealous does nothing but weep,
Her voice so sweet like an angel's whisper,
Her delicate touch would make even the cold whimper,
Her presence alone makes a difference to the world,
Her love is like heaven on earth,
Her words like delicate pearls of rarity,
She is a wonder of unimaginable delicacy,
She fills the heart with ecstatic elation,
Her elegance defines the meaning of transcendence,
Sometimes wonder what I want from her,
I say,
"smile pretty,
Make the world shine,
I'll know when you do,
because there will be light".

Ah.. Writing about the one who is yet to come, oh how we long to connect deeply as humans. This is what writing is all about. Your piece evokes different images for different people, but with your own personal words. Just thinking about what you may see when you write this, and what I see when I read it, and the next person, and the next... All different in their similiarities. I very well did appreciate this piece, Thank you for this. Cheers !

Wow, some adulation here in these words. Interesting that it's written for the one who is yet to come. The images of her are so strong and sensuous. She has it all, including talking eyes (the best kind, for they speak with the most clarity).

You've packed so much into this. I'd like to see more with less, because some of it starts the imagination up, and leaves it wanting, which is okay, if that's what you meant. For example "Her serenity leads to road of redemption" leaves me wanting, makes me curious...like even one more like to develop a context. Because after all redemption is a big deal and worthy of another detail or so.

I know that Aphrodite isn't a real god but I
know of Greek mythology amazing how

This is the perfect depiction of a mind blurred by loves beauty, when everything is so joyous and serene. The flow of this poem is beautiful and the words bring out vivid imagery which is always enjoyable.

Ah, this poem is as gorgeous as the woman you illustrate here so passionately. I loved every well crafted line... so beautiful, the muse for such a piece as this, is lucky indeed. :) I will be back to read more soon.

Thank you. Delighted you enjoyed reading.
This is the kind of thing I would like to write for a woman I love.

Beautiful piece for an obviously a beautiful woman in your eyes. The ending is a simple way to say more than what the words add up to.

Keep it up and I'll keep reading.
