Fatle

Fatle

A Poem by Bee

Extraordinary,

these thoughts are as the page bites the dust
You seek reason
though find this room's aroma, is nothing more

than a pot of melting lust

Past the reflection

is a thinning image of shame
Forever lost, lost forever
particles of ash leave the remains of a

            cold frame

Oh this wasn't a dream?
Then I stand in pure despair
take my wilted reach
                                 and join my nightmare

Gasps for air in these stains of aqua
                      These thoughts are now dead
I need a quick release

            The stains are now red.

I really love your glorious sense of rhyme. It's so subtle and delicate and works just perfectly with your poem. Your first lines really captivated me as did the rest of your poem. Really, really well done and wonderful writing.
