Breaking away from something, or someone, doesn't always hurt for as long as we fear it might. Hell, often times the air will clear itself not too long after if you allow it.
Concise, but sweetly rich. Nice penning, Elizabeth. :)

hmmm this is interesting cuz I'm a bit confused.
Don't know if I should interpret this as that s/he is like a cig addiction
or like giving up on it, and now being able to breathe...

either way, now I feel like smoking.
