The Truth of Horror

The Truth of Horror

A Poem by Ellis Hastings

H.P. Lovecraft once said
"Fear is the greatest emotion of man,
and fear of the unknown is the greatest of the fears."
He was correct

Mankind fears what it cannot comprehend
Aliens, the boogeyman, and other myths
Mankind fears death
But the scariest thing of all is life.
