Night Girl

Night Girl

A Poem by E. L. Foley
"

Written for the Than-Baulk contest

"

Pity the plight

of the night girl:

she's right to hide.

Out of the sun

on the run with

a gun she goes.

Shirt on her back,

heavy pack, dressed

in black to blend.

Quiet and fleet

footsteps beat on

the street all night.

This was a nicely done Than Bauk E.L. Makes you wonder who is the target, I like that. Thanks for entering the Poetry in-FORM-ation challenge.
