TURDSHINE

in correlation with Deepshikha's rainbow t**d, because she wanted me to write a sister poem :)

Oh upon looking through the clouds

I blink back from the dazzling light

Of TURDSHINE blazing over us

Warming my skin to delight

 

But then suddenly the weather changes

And the sky turns from merry blue to gray

Clouds filled to the brink with poo

Mark it another turdrain day

 

You'll come to see, this absolutely stinks

The poo raining down does no justice at all

Winter and spring - it's manageable then

But it's downright crap in the summer and fall

 

At least there will be something to look to

When the turdrain comes to an end

A rainbow t**d will envelop the sky

And I, with my heart, will make amends

 

Then the sun will come out again

Or hide shyly behind clouds of grime

For if I know one thing, one thing at all

It's that there can be no warmth without TURDSHINE

I loved it!! It's humorous!! I rlly liked it alot!! My favorite line was "But it's downright crap in summer and fall." I liked that cuz you used the word crap. Which is obvious why it's funny. Great poem!! haha liked it lots
