Dancing

Dancing

A Poem by Emilee Grimm

His voice is deep;

green eyes piercing.

His shoulders are strong;

hands so soft.

He moves hesitantly;

yet his feet move surely.

He claims he has no idea;

but he knows exactly.

He looks at me;

and I feel lost.

He leads the way

and I continue to follow.

I want to stay this way,

in his arms.

Around and around

we go; dancing.

And I wish we were doing so much more.
