Immortal's Kiss

Immortal's Kiss

A Poem by Emilee Grimm
"

When the light shone through the door, she quietly stopped breathing....

"

When the light shone through the door

She quietly stopped breathing

A warm breeze filtered through the window

She glanced at the easy escape

But the figure barged into her room

Black and as cold as night

She could not move

She could not cry

There was nothing waking her

From this nightmare turning reality

A cry for help was not heard nor was it screamed

As her blood was drained from her body

On that summers’ eve.

Love vampires!
This is quite different to other pieces about vampires I've read...
I like it a lot...
Though I would love if this piece was a little longer...
Still I like this a lot and I think it is a wonderful poem, very intense...
Great write!
