The road.

The road.

A Poem by Emilee Grimm

Here I come,

Down the road,

Ready to face the end.

But when I reach it, it doesn’t stop;

only forks from the middle.

There are no signs to be my guide,

Nothing to help me solve this riddle.

A voice whispers, “You know the way to go.

But still I stand, shaking in fear, wondering if I should hide.

If there are no signs to lead me, how do I know?

Swallow your fear, trust yourself, open your eyes wide.”

I do as I say, and feel with my heart,

But my feet don’t dare to move.

I am stuck here, at the end of the road,

Waiting for my heart to choose.

Wow, this is amazing! :O. I know a lot of people go through this when they are trying to pick their career, and in other things in life as well. You really got it down in a great way!
