Suppression

Suppression

A Poem by Emma Rose
"

The things people will do when their loved ones are hurt.

"
When he comes home from school
What should he find
But a knife to suppress
Anger kept in his mind

When he comes home from college
What's waiting there
Pills and smoke to suppress
Violence held in his stare

When he comes home from work
A rope hanging high
Tied ready to suppress
The depression and lies

When she comes home from work that night
He is lifeless above
She hangs herself beside him
To be with her love

The flow seems perfectly alright.
Nice work.
Transmits the story eloquently though quite tragic and sad.
